Octagon 2019 Now Leads our List

We welcome Octagon 2019 to head our List of current vintages. Octagon 2019 now succeeds Octagon 2018 in our Tasting Rooms, Palladio Restaurant, and online, with the 2018 being retired for further aging before joining our Cellar List next year. Our 21st Octagon, the 2019 vintage carries the Gold Medal of the Sommeliers International Wine Competition, 2022.

The critic’s tasting report from JamesSuckling.com in September, 2022 introduces Octagon 2019 as follows: 94 Points . A perfumed nose of spiced cherry, sliced plum, cardamom, clove and suède. Medium-to full-bodied with silky tannins. Concentrated but not overdone, with an array of nicely ripened red fruit and berries washing over the palate. Subtle length here with the fruit lingering on the palate for a long time. Lovely spicy complexity. Drink or hold.
