Brut Blanc de Noirs Pinot Meunier 2015
$ 45.00A most exciting first release of a cuvée planned and executed in 2015 in cooperation with the winemaker at our founder’s Tenuta Il Bosco estate in Oltrepò Pavese, this sparkling wine is created in the metodo classico and is from 100% Pinot Meunier. Although it is widely grown in Champagne, Pinot Meunier is rarely produced alone. Known for requiring longer aging to achieve elegance compared to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and to reach such complexity and elegance it was aged 82 months before release. Ideal for celebrations as well as for fine companionship with dining, this Cuvée 1814 honors the date of Thomas Jefferson’s design for Governor Barbour’s landmark mansion at our estate, a Virginia historic landmark.
Please note: State regulations preclude us from selling and shipping Brut Blanc De Noirs to addresses in Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and the State of Washington.
